I am vaguely familiar with it; I believe it has to come from the father's side, whereas a female can not take the tests ?My Campbell / MacIver are from my
grandmother, so her brothers children would have the markers, whereas I would not, I guess , even though my father is her son ???
Have you heard about the 7 EVES ?you can google it sometime, that too is
scientific and interesting.One of my Campbell /MacIver cousins,John of Kilberry got in touch with me after he had something to do with taking this test.
I must get my hands on that Neil Campbell > MacIver booklet, I think he wrote to to prove his right to some MacIver title or deed or something, not quite sure and it did not work in his favour either.
I really want to find out more about the ancient MacIvers that would be directly related to me, and not the current ones;1700s and before, so anything you would like to share you can alwayswrite me at my email.I am not finding much on them, though the Herbert Campbell chart has been some help.
