My Lord!Senility has set in for sure."Scattered Seed" is a book of North Carolina (and a few South Carolina) Campbell records and it was compiled by Myrtle Bridges.How I got that out of Ada Little, I have no idea!!Bring on the boys with the butterfly nets.

3) Isaac M. b. 1846, m. D.E. Bates on 7 Oct 1872 but in 1880 he was in Limestone County, TX with wife named Sally but with Bates neighbors.
4) James Andrew b. ca 1848, m. Alcie Whitwell 24 Oct 1892, Hickman County, TN
by second wife:
5) Mattie J. b. ca 1851
6) Lewis G. b. 1853, m. Louisa _?_
7) Harriet L. b. ca 1854, m. William Williams 16 Aug 1872 Hickman County, lived 1880 in Oregon County, MO.
8) John C. B. b. ca 1857
9) Frances Adeline b. ca 1859, m. Thomas Linch, 3 Feb 1891 Hickman County, R. W. Campbell was bondsman.
10) Richard W. Campbell b. 1860, was in Carter County, MO in 1880 (in the home of Henry Phillips) but returned to Hickman.
11) George Mason b. ca 1863 (somebody told me he died in Virginia in 1921 but no source was given.
12. Samuel Levi/or Levi Samuel b. ca 1864, m. Ida _?_, lived 1910 Fulton County, KY, also supposedly died in VA in 1927.
13. Joseph E. (Joe) b. ca 1867, m. Letha McCann 14 Aug 1889 in Hickman County, in 1900 was in Lewis County, TN
14. S. A. Campbell, b. ca 1870 in Hickman.
BTW, my line is through the youngest (I think) son of William and Jane, Richard, who married Mildred Adalette McMackin and became my gr-gr-grandparents...believe it or not, I was named for her.
