Jonathan C. Camp, 26th Alabama
I am a historian of the 26th Alabama and am looking for biographical information on Jonathan C. Camp of Company B of the 26th Alabama. He was wounded at the Battle of Malvern Hill on July 1, 1862 and then I have him on the last muster that exists for the Regiment in late April, 1864.I have no record of him even signing an oath so I don't know if he even survived the war.Would love the information, any wartime photos if the exist and a post war (if he lived) photo would be just as appreciated.
I've also a W. A. Camp in the same Company that the last I hear of him is June 8, 1862 when he was discharged due to health reasons.Isuspect they were related.
Please e-mail me as I've posted a lot of members of the 26th Alabama.
