Hello John,
I think I may have some info on Joseph Camp. Did people call him Joe? I just want to make sure we are talking about the same guy. I grew up as a Navy brat and my dad was good friends with a Navy seal that we called him Joe Camp. This is in the early 70,s when he came to our house in Millington , Tenn close to the Naval Base. Joe and my Dad were good friends. Just a little info if you read the book The Rouge Warrior by Marcinco, you will find that Marcinco mentions Joe Camp on operations in Vietnam. Jow wasnt a big guy but he was really fit. After my Dad retired we went back to Tenn to visit and he inquired about Joe and he was told Joe was killed in Nicaraga, does any of this sound familier?
