Enos Camp son of Lt. Samuel 1648 or Samuel 1655?
My great-grandfather wrote up a Camp family genealogy (prior to 1902), but I find that it matches some published genealogies and not others. He traced us back to Nicholas Camp of Nazing.
Nicholas Camp m. 1) Sarah 2)Kathern Widow Thompson
Nicholas Camp (2nd) m. 1) __ Beard 2) Mehitable Briscoe
Samuel b. 1655 m 1) Mary Camp 2)Rebecca Canfield
Enos Camp m. 1) Martha Baldwin 2) Elizabeth Clark
Isaac Camp m. Sarah Clark
Isaac Camp (2nd) m. Jane Baldwin
Joel Camp m. 1) Anna Whittlesey 2) Comfort Whittlesey
Caroline Julia Ann Camp b. May 03, 1802 m. Luther Jackson
Laura Frances Jackson b. August 13, 1827 m. Aaron R. Wolfe
Other sources show that Enos was the son of Lt. Samuel Camp b. 1648 and Mary Camp.Lt. Samuel is shown in Families of Early Milford as the son of Edward Camp d. 1659.
Does Enos come from the Nicholas or the Edward line?
Your help would be appreciated!
