He owned and operated a grocery store in Los Angles from about 1910 - 1929. He was possibly from Cameron, TX., as he was married to E. A. Peeples, on October 31, 1880, in Milam Co, TX. He and E. A. Peeples had two girls, Edna and Margaret. He married Elsie Clark Bristol, October 29, 1913, in San Diego, CA. They also had two girls.
