Hello Tim,just found your forum site.
I was born in Boston and knew Cammack`s store well, having bought things there.
My greatgrandfather was Alfred Cammack born in Leverton c1854. He married Eva May of Horncastle 25th June 1876 and lived in Horncastle where he was a gents hairdresser and sometime cycle agent.
They had 4 children,Alfred born 1877,Frances {my grandmother}born1879,Eva born 1880 and Kate born 1881.
Family heresay had it that there was some connection with Cammack`s of Boston but so far I haven`t found one. Alfred`s father wasJames Cammack, a farmer but I have no other information than that.
Does that fill any gaps for you? Perhaps you can help me. Regards Peter.
