I have some information for you on the Cammack family. Francis Cammack was an ancestor of mine (too many greats to count) on my Dad's mother's side. I'll start as far back as I have it.

William Cammack, b: Abt 1715, d: Feb 3, 1783. Children were: Francis (b:Abt 1735), William (b:Abt 1736), John (b:Abt 1738), Margaret (b:Abt 1739), Catherine (b: Abt 1740), Susanna (b:Abt 1741), Mary (b:Abt 1742), Ann (b:Abt 1743), Elizabeth (b:Abt 1744), George (b:Abt 1745).

Francis Cammack was born in Berkeley Parrish, Spotsylvania Co, VA abt 1735 and died there about May 6, 1778. His wife's name was Ann. They had the following children: John (b:Abt 1760), Henry (b:Abt 1761), Susanna (b:Abt 1764), Katherine (b:Abt 1765), Ann (b:Abt 1766), Francis (b:Abt 1767).

John Cammack (Francis' son) was born about 1754 in Spotsylvania Co, Va and died in January, 1832 in Bibb Co, Alabama. His wife's name was Margaret Anne Berkel Pirtle. They were married in the 96th District (Laurens County), South Carolina about 1773. She was born in Laurens County About 1755, and died in on May 19, 1845 in Bibb Co, Alabama. They had the following children: John (b: May 12, 1774), David (b:Abt 1775), Mary Polly (b: Abt 1775), Anna (b:Abt 1776), Sarah Sally (b:Abt 1777), Margaret (b:Abt 1778), Michael (b: 1781), Samuel (b: 1797), and Lewis (b: 1801).

Michael Cammack was born in Laurens Co, SC in 1781 and died about 1852 in Union Co, Alabama. Hev married Sarah Milburn in Vincennes, Knox Co, Indiana on Sept 17, 1807. Sarah was born in Knox County about 1785, and died before 1847 in Union Co, Alabama. Michael and Sarah's children were: Joseph M. (b:Abt 1808, d: Mar 5, 1850), Celinda (b:Abt 1810, died Bef 1850), Lewis (b: Sept 9, 1811), Adeliza (b:Abt 1812, d: Feb 27, 1872), and William H. (b:Abt 1814)

Lewis Cammack was born in Knox Co, Indiana Sept 9, 1811, and died in Portland, Ashley Co, Arkansas on Aug 31, 1872. He married Araminta Cureton in Perry Co, Alabama on Jul 5, 1835. Araminta was born in Winnsboro, Fairfield Co, SC on Sept 14, 1819. She died Aug 4, 1846, and her body is buried in Perry Co, Alabama. Lewis and Araminta had the following children: Edwin William (b: May 25, 1837), Sarah Melvina (b: Dec 29, 1839), James C. (b: Oct 25, 1840, died Feb 20, 1876), and Michael Dickinson (b: May 6, 1848, died Abt 1862).

Sarah Melvina Cammack was born in Perry Co, Alabama Dec 29, 1839. She died Feb 6, 1917 in Westbrook, Mitchell Co, Texas, and she is buried at Iatan, Mitchel Co, Texas. She married Jesse Cole George in Ashley Co, Texas on Sept 4, 1856. Jesse was born in Dallas Co, Alabama about 1830, and died abut 1875. Jesse served with Company G, 37th Arkansas Infantry, CSA during the Civil War.

I have some more on the Cammacks (some details on some of the children listed above). I also have Margaret Cammack (Francis' daughter-in-law)'s family going all the way back to the 1600's in Germany.

Let me know if this helps.
