Delighted to get a reply to my posting. Thank you for the information, it`s most interesting. Unfortunately I don`t operate a genealogical programme to receive a gedcom file but any information you could send by e-mail would be appreciated.
My grandmother Frances married Edgar Richard Green, sixth son of William John Austin Green, a miller of Michelmersh ,
Hampshire 2.9.1900. They went to live in Wellingborough, Northants where Edgar was manager of a gent`s outfitters. My father, Alfred Kenneth was born 10.9.1902 and poor Edgar died of TB in Horncastle 26.12.1906. My father (Ken to all his friends) worked as a clerk at Boston railway station and married Kathleen Taylor 11.6.1928. I was born 27.6.1930.
My wife Sheila and I used to work at the local electricity company offices in Boston with Di Cammack, daughter of the store owners and my father-in-law played golf at Woodhall with her father. Small world!
Also at the electricity offices at that time was a Jean Sylvester. You aren`t by any chance a relation of hers ,are you?
Looking forward to your reply
all the best
