Hi Peter. We are related. Our common ancestor is Richard Cammack of Benington (1785-1868). He was a Naval surgeon. He had six sons. The 3rd son James (1822-1899) married France Robinson of Anderby and was the father of Alfred. My ancestor John Cammack (1824-1917) is the 4th son of James. He married Ellen Smith and moved to Boston. His son Francis Alfred Cammack (1880-1964) was the founder of the furniture store in Boston and is my gt grandfather. If you have a genealogical programme I can send you a gedcom file. We are also related to the Cammacks of Coningsby and of Tilney & Terrington, Norfolk mentioned elsewhere on this site.
Look forward to hearing from you.
Tim
