I am a gggg grandson of Thomas Cammack, b. 1784 in County Down, Ireland, and ggg grandson of his eldest son, James from his first marriage. Thomas, his wife, and many descendants are buried in Poplar Springs Cemetery in Crystal Springs, Copiah County, MS. I have visited the grave sites. I have manuscripts on "Notes of the Cammacks" as welll as copies of two books written in late 1800's and early 1900's on "Cammacks of County Down, Ireland". However, I cannot trace my Thomas Cammack, b. 1784, in County Down further back. I have been told that his father was James....but no proof. I have also been searching for emigration records of Thomas' arrival in 1797.....any help in these areas? Thanks.
