I've spent quite a long time casting a small net in a very specific area, Jackson County Alabama mainly, trying to find Cameron ancestors prior to 1844 with little sucess if any. Now I would like to cast a very wide area.
Is there anyone out there that would have any information on the ancestors of Hugh Leonidas (Rob)Cameron, born 16 March 1844 in Jackson County, Alabama and/or his wife Rachel Margaret Elizabeth (Mag) Potts, born 13 April 1849 in Tennessee.
The couple and their two oldest children George William and John Marion moved to Travis County,Texas and then to Medina County, Texas
I've got a fairly good record of the family that followed and will gladly share with anyone.
