My ggg grandparents, they married 1799 in parish Contin, Ross and Cromarty, Scotland.
His name was recorded as JOHN CAMERON OR BUIE.
Resided in Ardnagrask Croft, parish Urray, same county until abt 1830 when he was convicted of shooting at Excise officers. Deported.
Do not know which colony he was deported to. Unable to find him in UK Census years 1851, 1841.
Not found in AUSTL convict records.
