Boy
You know Johanna
maybe we should compare notes
The time frame fits
My James was mentioned (as underage)
in 1828 will of his G-pa Absalom
and my Thomas his brother was b.1815 est
Their father died in 1835
and My Thomas married in 1838 in NC
moved to Schuyler in 1844
We have names, time, and last place known in common
Coincidence???
It would be a KICK if he was in Macomb
right under my nose all this time.
I have no record of him after 1828
I was born in Macomb
Live right up the river in Rock Island
The Hillyers there in Macomb are my mothers people
My dad was Leslie Cameron (called Jr)
his mother was Ruth M Long
and after she remarried they lived in Colchester
Down that road to the right in the middle of town
to what someone told me was Vinegar Flats
Last house on right.
Name was Peters
Well more than you wanted to know Im sure
But as some one told me
We genealogist love talkin family
(specially after 2 cups of coffee)
Let talk more
