CORRECTION:The parents of Leroy Camden B.about 1799 are John W. Camden and wife Frances "Franky" Phillips, m. 1796 in Amherst Co., VA where they had 115 acres on North Fork James in 1813. John W. Camden was in Franklin Co.,Tn by 1827 (later Coffee Co, TN) John W. died intestate in 1849 and the 1849 deed lists his heirs..one of which is Leroy. Leroy Camdens grandparents were Benjamin Camden and Elizabeth Wright of Rockbridge Co., VA.
