Charles, I don't know if we're kin, but there were both a Charles Cambron and a Ray Cambron in my grandmother's line emanating from Kentucky. Though American Irish, she claimed French ancestry and pronounced her Cambron name "Cambronne," like the French general, as did her siblings. She died in 1974 at the age of 74 in Louisiana.
