The purpose of this correspondence is to solicit help in updating the James Adolphus Usry (1805-1877) Family History & to announce this family's reunion to be held in Alabama in 2004.
One of James Adolphus Usry and Elizabeth Poole Usry's 13 children was Martha Harriet Usry (1845-1918). Martha married Elijah J. Cambron (1841-1914) in 1862 in Calhoun CO, AL. Martha and Elijah made their home and are buried in Flintville, Lincoln CO, TN. If you are a descendant of this family and would like to share information/photos and/or would like to attend the Usry Family Reunion, please contact me at busry@bellsouth.net.
The reunion is scheduled for Saturday, June 12, 2004 at the Kiwanis Pavilion (air-conditioned), Noccalula Falls, Gadsden, AL from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. Hotel accomodation and RV/campsite facilities are available for this reunion. We would love to see this branch of the family well represented.
