Hi well this is going to be a little long so if you want i can email it to you. I have a mini book that my family has put together so i can type it up for you and email it to you or i can just give you the names and dates that i have. I am a decendent of Mary Cambern.
Descendents of Ignatius Cambron
Ignatius Cambron was born abot 1781 in Maryland. He married Sarah Bell in 1806. She was born abt 1783 in Kentuckty.
According to Ralph Cambern Henderson the Cambron family were originally catholics and came to this country from scotland with lord Baltimore and settled in maryland. Sixty familys emigrated from marland to kentucky the last leaving in 1787

James Bascom Cambern was born 1813 in lebenon Ky and died april 1858 in jack co tx. He married Margery Caroline Bell april 23 1845 in shelby co tx Daughter of thomas bell and mary mcfalls. She was born in august 10 1828 in hickman co tn and died april 1858 in jack co tx.
James enlisted army Rusk co june 21 1847 in the mexican war and rode with hays' texas mounted volunteers. In jan 1848 he was discharged in mexico by surgeons certificate
Because of religous differences james and his brother Henry left the catholic church and changed the spelling of their name to cambern. Henry settled on the west coast in the tacoma area and james located to tx.
