We found an old graveyard in Knox County, KY. It is known as the Elliott Graveyard. It is in the trees about half way up a mountain. Threre is a Joel Campbell, born February 7, 1853, died October 18, 1925 buried there. There is his wife (I was told): Mary Campbell born, August 21, 1859, died February 10, 1946. I hope this info helps someone who is searching for these people. Besides the two Campbell graves, there are 4 Elliotts, 1 McNiel, 2 Fullers, 1 Vermillion, and 1 Heath. There is about 25 more graves marked only with a field stone. This graveyard is about 8-9 miles South of Barbourville just off highway 459.
