Hi, I found James and Margaret on the 1900 census, they are living in Caldwell county not Burke, Location Johns Rvr TWP
James Head b Feb 1868 age 32 married 4yrs b NC father b NC mother b NC occ. Farmer
Margaret L Wife b jan 1880 age 20 married 4yrs b NC father b NC mother b NC
Donald F Son b Oct 1897 age 2 b NC
Davidy?? Son b Jan 1900 age 5 mths b NC.
On the 1910 census Davidy?? becomes Bruce. I have copies of James on the 1900/10 and Margaret as a widow on the the 1920 census if you want them.
