Daniel F. Camacho, Sr. 84, of Framingham, died Wed. May 11, 2010 at his home. Born in Hudson, he was the son of the late Jacinto and Romana (Correia) Camacho and the husband of Virginia (Scouras) Comacho, of Framingham, to whom he had been married for the past 62 yrs. A resident of Framingham for over 50 yrs. Mr. Camacho served in the Army during WW II. He had been employed for 27 yrs. as a truck driver for Suburban Welders Supply, but his greatest love, other than his family was his music. Although his ability to play piano came naturally, he attended Berklee College of Music, Boston. He entertained with many former area bands, including Randy Rando, Boots Missulli, and Johnny Archer, and enjoyed a broad connection throughout the music industry. He was a member of Sts. Anargyroi Greek Orthodox Church, Marlborough. Besides his wife, he is survived by his children, Daniel Comacho, Jr. and his wife Sung, of El Paso, TX, Christine Blackadar and her husband Robert, of Framingham, Denise Devine and her husband Mark, of Manassas, VA, his sister, Mary Burgio of Hudson, 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Visiting hrs. will be held on Fri, May 14 from 9-11:00 am followed by funeral services at 11:00 in the Slattery Funeral Home, Inc., 40 Pleasant St., Marlborough, MA. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Wilson St., Marlborough. The family requests that flowers be omitted.
