Yes, your correct. In fact they were in Villa Gayoso, but, Frederick, who was Montfort's father died in 1790. And, his Mother Mary Elizabeth Montfort Calvit remarried in 1790 to a John Roberts, and they can be found as a family under Juan Roberts in Villa Gayoso. Together they have 3 boys and 3 girls in the home. Now, I know that John Roberts had three son's, James, William and Isaac. And I do believe the three girls listed are Mary Roberts. I have a great information and documents, always willing to share.
John Roberts died in 1802, left a will, that designated property and slaves to his God Son, James Duncan Stewart, son of James and Lucretia Calvit Stewart. Mary Roberts died in 1805, the boys were in the Stewart home until 1808, oldest moved out, a new son that was born between 1795 and 1797 named John Roberts was raised in the Stewart Home with James Duncan Stewart. The Calvit's began their migration around 1816, the Stewarts followed along with John Roberts in 1820. The Stewarts you will find in Rapides Parish. I also have questions about your name. I am seeking an Isham and Elizabeth Dunn, married 1841 through 1850, Isham had property in Lawrence County, which eventually turned into Lincoln. Elizabeth is Mary Elizabeth Montfort Calvit Roberts Granddaughter through John Roberts, son of John and Mary Elizabeth. Isham and Elizabeth are one of my brick walls. I have a marriage permission written and signed by Isham and Elizabeth for 1850, the young girl getting Married was Susan Nowlen, daughter of James and Elizabeth Roberts Nowlen. Her first marriage. I already have the entire research on their oldest daughter, Mary Polly Nowlen Brister. Any suggestions?
