I have a Jesse CALVERT (my gggggf) of Abbeville, who died in Dec 1838. His will posted in Abbeville, Box 24, Pack 545, est Admnr. Jan 7, 1839. He left a widow Caroline and 7 children all of age but one. 3 in Abbeville, one the wife of William Smith, 3 in Alabama (one the minor) and one in Texas. Of the children listed in his will, Robert J. CALVERT,H.H.CALVERT and William Leake CALVERT were the only males listed.
Caroline Calvert Dunn ANDERSON, my ggggm. I would bet the J. CALVERT was either the son of Robert J. or H.H. CALVERT. I believe I have some information their lines. I'll have to look! Regards, Keith
