There were calvert's in Franklin County, Ky. in sthe 1800's. My gg grandfather John William Calvert is listed on paage 161 of the 1850 census. He does not show up on the 1870 census and his wife Nancy had remarried a man named Wright. John was listed as 44 years old and from North Carolina. All his children used the surname Calveard. There were other Calvert's in Franklin County too. One was Cyrus. I have been unable to go beyond John in my quest. I think he was form Jackson, Northampton, North Carolina.
