Hello Hillary, I am responding to your posting about the New Abbey Calverts, many years after you posted the message ... I hope this message will reach you!
I am a descendent of Margaret Calvert, daughter of Thomas Calvert and Grace Hope.
I live in B.C. Canada and recently visited Scotland for the first time. I sought out the graves of my ancestors in Sweetheart Abbey and was thrilled to find the gravestone of Thomas Calvert, Grace Hope, their two infant children, also Margaret Calvert and John O'Neil and their daughter Nicholas.
I wish I had started to do this research years ago when there were still relatives living who could tell me more details.
I would be happy to communicate with you about these ancestors we have in common.
