The book Descendants of Virginia Calverts, compiled by Ella Foy O'Gorman, shows this George Calvert as person #418: b Sept 17, 1810, Bourbon Co, KY, d 1873 Pawnee, Sangamon Co, IL, m Amanda Calvert #453: b prob abt 1823, d July 22, 1893 at Dennis, Labett Co, KS, dau of Cecilius and Penelope (Reno) Calvert of Trimble Co, KY. George Calvert, sixth child of John and Sarah (Adams) Calvert, was born in Bourbon Co, KY. When he was about 13 yrs of age his parents moved to Hardin Co, KY. He married his first cousin, Amanda Calvert, probably in Trimble Co, before 1850. They settled in Pawnee, Sangamon Co, IL. They had eleven children. All but five died in infancy. [George's ancestry is shown as John 8, George 7, George 6, John 5, George 4, William 3, Leonard 2, George 1. Amanda's is shown as Cecilius 8, George 7 and so on as for George.] Issue of George and Amanda:

1153 Sarah Calvert m Silas Davis.
1154 Perlina Calvert m 1 Thomas Taylor, m 2 .... Brown.
1155 Silas Calvert m 1 Kittie Whitehead, m 2 Mary M Spaulding.
1156 Jesse Thomas Calvert m Amelia Kunze.
[George and Amanda's earliest ancestor according to this book is George Calvert, First Lord Baltimore, about whom a lot of information is readily available.]
