I'm not sure if our Calverts are of the same branch...but I thought perhaps you might be able to help anyways.
I know we have Calvert's in Lambton Co. that are related to us...but I don't know who they would be yet. The only name I have is Danny Calvert who I think is in his 70's now.
My greatG grandfather was John Calvert b. 1852 in Co. Down, Ireland (perhaps Bleary, Tullylish Parish). He had a brother David William Calvert b. 1848 and my Great Aunt Helen Calvert remembers there was a sister as well. I believe her name was Margaret. My greatG grandfather named his 1st son David William and he married Annie Jane Dundas.
I also know in the 1881 Census for Oxford Co. E. Nissori Twp. there is a William b. 1807 who is 74 living with John's brother David W. at Lakeside. This William does not appear in the 1871 census though living with David W.
I noticed there is a Margaret Calvert b. abt 1816 who married John Williamson that settled in Lambton Co. Ont. Margaret is a first name that appears a couple times with my Calverts. It is the Lambton Co. Calverts I don't know much about yet. The only piece of information I do have is that my GreatG. Uncle Joseph Calvert gave one of the Lambton Co. Calverts a farm he owned when they lost theirs. I also know that both GreatG Uncle Joseph and Joseph Uncle David W. were both painters.
They all settled in both Oxford and Middlesex Co's.
