Sue; I am a descendent of John Calvert and Hetty Esther Jones. I descend through their daughter Jane who was married to Benjamin Taylor. John Calvert's father was also John Calvert and his mother was Jane Swayne [Mercer]. She had been married and widowed before John. They moved to Belmont Co. Ohio from Bald Eagle twp, Chester Co., PA. Some of the other families living in Bald Eagle Twp., was Swaynes, Pennells, Calverts, Jones and Mercers. I had looked for Jane Mercer for a long time until I found where she had been married before and that her maiden name was really Swayne instead of Mercer. Their were children born of her first marriage, but I only know of one child. His name was Amos Mercer. I do have his wife's name and maybe some dates on him also. I believe I have found John Sr's. father and maybe generations back also. I do have Jane Swayne's. Judy
