I am looking for information about Charles Calvert,
son of William Calvert and Alabama Cottingham, born abt.
1860. His mother was legally appointed his guardian in
1874 in McClennen County, TX. Was his name possible
Charles Henry and could he have married Mary Elizabeth
Scroggins abt. 1881 in Wise County, TX, had a son William
Cleave Calvert abt. 1883 and then died abt. 1886??
The man I am looking for is Henry Calvert, father of
William Cleave and husband of Mary E. Scroggins. Any information
will be appreciated. William Cleave is my husband's
grandfather and he died in 1964. All we know is that
his father was Henry and mother was Mary E. Scroggins.
His father died when he was three and we have birthdates
for William Cleave Calvert ranging from 1875-1884.
