My aunt and I are working on the descendants of John Marsden's brother Samuel (1792-1881), who settled at Jackson, NC. There is another John Marsden born around 1830. He has been erroneously identified as son of Samuel. We think he was the son of John and Samuel's brother Matthew, who died in 1839. In any event, I would be interested in learning more about the branch of the family that went to Alabama.
