Thanks. Since I posted that inquiry, I have found where Mary (Humphries) Banks Calloway's either brother Henry Humphries or Cousin William Henry Underwood was appointed guardian of her two sons, so I would tend to agree that Mary had no children by Flanders Calloway (unless perhaps she died in childbirth with one who was never named). Seems like the date of the guardianship papers was 1851. I did find Flanders and Mary Caliway or some such mis-spelling on the 1850 census in Carroll Co MO, near both her Humphries and Underwood families.
