Hi Marcelle,

We've corresponded before and I suspect we come from the same Ann and Samuel Callow of Andover, but we're from the son, John who went to India (not proven 100% but that's the hunch). I've found Ann and Samuel in various census records in Andover, and Samuel lists Wells, Somersetshire as birthplace and Ann lists Abingdon, Berkshire. I've just sent away for both of their death certificates to see if they shed any light...especially to see who the informant is on Ann's certificate as she died a widow.
