Hello, Anyone need a couple pictures?
I've come into possession of the 1889 University of Michigan medical school graduation picture of Francis Henry Callow (1853 London-1935 Mt. Morris, Genesee Co, Michigan). He's buried in Hillsdale, MI Oak Grove cemetery & I have a picture of his tombstone. His biography is in one of the 3 histories of Genesee County; he emigrated from London 1871, married Sarah Hendrick (1855-1924) in New York 1873, moved to Michigan 1876. Daughter Lulu M. Callow was born 1877 in Van Buren County, MI & married Archibald Bray, with whom she had 7 children; son Francis A. & 6 daughters. As of his obituary 1935 he had 11 grandchildren. Francis attended Hillsdale College 1882, graduated 1886 & continued on to medical school. As of 1935 he was survived by sister J.F. Russell of London & brother James E. Callow of Rochester, NY.

His biography names his parents & grandparents. I'd love a copy of a picture of his parents or siblings. His father Francis Callow lived 1829-1872, but mother, maiden name Mary Ann Corrick, lived 1831-1913. Two other siblings were Emily who married a McGraw, John who died in NY, & Harry of London. He reports his paternal grandfather's wife was Elizabeth Nethercot, daughter of Robert Nethercot "who lived to be age 94".

The Callow & Nethercot families are reported to be from Devon.
