There is no Manx IGI marriage record for Thomas & Ellen. They were probably married in Liverpool....in which case you should find them on the Lancashire, IGI.

Ellen CRETNEY will be d/o William & Esther KEWN chr 19 Sep 1802, Kirk German, IOM. The only other Ellen on the IGI is chr 1838 (too late)There are lots of Eleanors (various spellings.

William married Esther KEWLEY (sic) 10 Jul 1802, Kirk german, IOM.

There are 11 Thomas's born between 1795 & 1802 on the IOM, none from kirk German....so it is more difficult to isolate which one.
