I AM LOOKING FOR DESCENDANTS OF SAMUEL CALLISON OF GRAINGER CO. TENNESSEE. MY LINEAGE IS AS FOLLOWS:
Samuel Callison born 1783, in Greenbrier Co. Virginia the son of James and Mary Callison.
Samuel came with his parents to Tennessee about 1790. Samuel Callison married on
Dec.22,1809 to Elender Ellen Morgan, daughter of William Morgan and Sarah Inman. Samuel
and Ellen were married in Grainger Co. Tennessee. Samuel Callison died in 1854. and is
probably buried in the Callison/Hammer Cemetery in Grainger Co. Tennessee. Samuel and
Ellen were the parents of the following children:>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> John Callison
born:July 8,1811. in Grainger Co. Tenn. Married Sept.1,1836. to Nancy Groves. John
died:Sept.28, 1855. Both John and Nancy are buried in the Callison/ Hammer Cemetery.

born: 1821 Rutledge, Tennessee. She married March 3,1843 to Rev. James Sterling Greenlee
in Grainger Co. Tenn. Sarah died before 1870, Both Sarah and Rev.J.S.Greenlee are buried in
the Callison/Hammer Cemetery Rev. Greenlee died June 12,1898.

G.Moody on Dec.29,1847 in Grainger Co. Tennessee death and burial unknown. Henry Moody,
son of Reuben G. Moody and Nancy Callison (daughter of Samuel Callison and Elender
Morgan), married Loouisa C. Daniel April 18, 1857 in Grainger Co. TN He died D ec. 1913 and
Louisa died 12/12/25. These are their children; 1. lOOUISA c. Moody b. 8/8/1875 d. 1936 2.
William Rubin ,Moody b. 7/18/1877 d. 1888 3.. Jimmy J. Moody b. 10/20/1879 d/ 1/8/1936 4/
