Rebecca CALLISON, b. 12-25-1806 Pocahontas Co., WV, married Abraham GRIMES on 04-05-1832 in Pocahontas Co. Rebecca is the daughter of James CALLISON and Susannah EDMISTON. Abraham is the son of John GRIMES and Elizabeth BURNER. The following children are found in the 1850 OH and 1860 MO census records with Rebecca and Abraham GRIMES: Leah / Lola, b. about 1833 VA; George, b. about 1835 VA; Susannah, b. about 1836 VA; James, b. about 1839 VA, Elizabeth, b. about 1844 VA, and Nancy, b. about 1851 OH. Rebecca and Abraham probably died in Daviess Co., MO. I have no knowledge of Rebecca having a sister named Susannah. Siblings for Rebecca CALLISON, as I know them, are William, b. acout 1799; Isaac, b. acout 1800; Elizabeth, b. about 1804; Mary A. "Pocahontas", b. 1809; James, b. 11-08-1811; Josiah C., b. 03-01-1814; and H. Franklin, b. 01-28-1819. If you want more info, I will be happy to help.
