Louisa Isabella Calison was my ggrandmother. She was born in Houston Co., Texas, not Houston. Her father was not John G. Callison. Her father was Samuel C. Callison, b Ala. Her mother was Ida Orlena Box, and they were probably married Blount Co., Ala. Cme to Texas in Jan. 1835. Her brother was John Gillespie Callison, other brother was James Crockett Callisonn. Sister Vinie died as infant. Her mother was dead by 1846 and Samuel Callison married Martha Yarbrough. They are in 1850 census Houston Co., Texas census.
