Millicent Callison was married to Daniel Shumate aabout 1774 in Bedford or Rockbridge Co., VA. They were the parents of Tollison, Daniel, Elizabeth, Silas, Mark Hardin, John (my ggg grandfather), Nancy, Margaret, Polly, Malinda, Rhoda and Rachel Shumate. Millicent Callison and Daniel Shumate are buried in Sunset Memorial Gardens in Rich Creek, Giles Co., VA. This cemetery is adjacent to the Shumate's home place where they settled in 1780. Information from History of the Shumate Family, by Robert S. Riley, published 1992 by McDowell Publications. I would like to know more about the Rev. Isaac Callison and his family.
