My name is Connie Hebb, and I am seeking information about my great-grandmother, Angie Callis, and her family. I have listed information below, which shows her marriage to James Fred Grubbs and lists her children. If anyone has information on my great-grandmother and her Callis roots, I would love to communicate with him or her.

10. James Fred "Papa" Grubbs, born October 12, 1881 in Springfield, Tennessee, Robertson County, USA; died December 1, 1959 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, Tuscaloosa County, USA. He was the son of 20. Marion Green Grubbs and 21. Lucy A. M. Mays. He married 11. Angie Callis.
       11. Angie Callis, died Abt. 1908 in Fountain Head, Tennessee, Sumner County, USA. She was the daughter of 22. ??? Callis and 23. ??? (Spouse of ??? Callis).

Notes for James Fred "Papa" Grubbs:
Papa Grubbs is buried in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Whitehouse, Tennessee.
Children of James Grubbs and Angie Callis are:
              i.       Charles Grubbs
              ii.       Zelma Grubbs

Notes for Zelma Grubbs:
Zelma was legally adopted by the Ashton family in Alabama.

       5       iii.       Mattie Corinne Grubbs, born May 28, 1904 in Fountain Head, Tennessee, Sumner County, USA; died March 18, 1986 in Wauchula, Florida USA; married Percy Morton Hebb 1924 in Florida.
