I have heard a rumor that James Beverly Callicott (died June 9, 1824)was married to Priscilla (sometimes spelled Prisilla)who was part Cherokee Indian. Does anyone know any more about this family story? Both are my direct ancestors, through their daughter Nancy, who married John Vaughan.
