James Callan, born Ireland, 1831, filed declaration of intent for citizenship 1848, Franklin County, NY. Possibly entered North America through port of Montreal, Canada. Married Elizabeth Hart ca 1851, possibly in Ohio. Moved to Minnesota by 1854, died 1913 in Minnesota. Arthur Callan filed identical declaration of intent at the same time as James. Could they be twins? Would like ANY information on James, Arthur or Elizabeth.
