Thank you for your excellent information about Joseph Call and Ebenezer Call. The research you have done is quite amazing. Is there a place where you have made available a compilation of your research on the Call Family? If not, you should write a paper or something so that it can be circulated around the family. It would be very interesting to see a copy of the genealogical information found in the family book of Amanda Call Pease.
In his History of the Call Family in the United States, Simeon T. Call published a piece by William S. Mills. In that piece, in several places, Mills refers to a record made in 1866 from the memory of Rufus Call. Mills indicates that the memory of Rufus does not always agree with the research by Mills. However, I would like to get a copy of the record by Rufus and I was wondering if you have that.
Also, I think it was in some book of local history where I read a quotation from what was called a diary or journal of Rufus Call. I was wondering if you have seen or heard of that.
My understanding is that Solon Call had some letters written by his father Amherst Call which gave a description of Joseph Call who was Amherst’s grandfather. I was wondering if you know anything about those letters or if you have contact with any descendants of Solon or Amherst who would have information about those letters.
Because Joseph Call was so extensively involved with the Baptist Church I have thought that the Baptists would have some record of him. Are you aware of any records of the Baptist Churches located in the Madison, Ohio area where Joseph died that could have an obituary or something about him?
Thanks again for all the information you have provided.
