I have a group of carte de visite photographs of Call family members, all taken in Manchester (Hillsboro Co.) NH - which I’d like to get back to descendants or family members.
One photo is of “Franklin W. Call”, and another of his wife: “Mrs. F. W. Call – Bessie Coburn Call”. He looks about 30 and she about age 18, and I believe the photos were taken in about 1875.
A third photo is of “William Rendale Frank Call”, at age about 18 months, and this would have been taken about 1860-1865.
The fourth and fifth photos were of Dr. N. Call, which I am posting separately.
The last photo is of “Sarah Marcella Call Thompson”, and this is the only one which was taken in another location: in Fitchburg (Worcester Co.) MA. She looks to be about age 50-55, and the photo looks to have been taken about 1880.
I found the Call family in 1850 and 1860 living in Merrimack Co., NH. In 1850, parents were Norman Call (age 39), wife Jerusha (41), William N. (11), Sarah M. (9), Joseph M. and John M. (both 7), Elvira L. (5), Franklin W. (3) and Francis H. (1). By 1860, the top four children were gone, and living with parents were Elvira L. (15), Frank W. (13), Francis H. (11) and Rendall H. (9).
