Not the descendants of John Cahoon and Grace Fuller, Kent, CT
The parentage of Nathaniel Cahoon and Abiah Stuart is unproven see why:
Nathaniel Cahoon (c.1752 in CT d. 1-1827 in Erie Co., PA, buried in Mill Creek, PA) and Abiah Stuart (d. 9-18-1803 in prob. Jerusalem, Yates Co., NY) Married: December 29, 1774 in Kent, Litchfield Co., CT by Zachariah Winegar, J.P.
Children: Jerusha (9-20-1775), Stuart (6-26-1777), Jared (6-13-1779), Polly (10-16-1781), Sally “Sarah” (4-21-1784), Betsy (8-31-1786), John C. (11-27-1790), Charles W. (2-17-1794 in Penn Yan, Yates Co., NY)
Note: Nathaniel Cahoon and his probable sister Dimmis Cahoon (m. Henry Winegar) are not documented as the children of John Cahoon and Grace Fuller. Since that is the case, than who are the parents of Nathaniel Cahoon and Dimmis Cahoon?

Orville S. COHOON, a well known and enterprising farmer of Boone County [IL], residing in Flora Township, section 12, is a native of PA, born in Green Township, Erie County, 29 Oct 1833. His father, John COHOON, was born in the town of Milo, Yates County, NY, 20 Mar 1812, and passed the first eight years of his life in his father's home on the banks of Seneca Lake, whence he removed with his parents to Erie County, PA.
The paternal grandparents of our subject, Steward and Charity (CULVER) COHOON, were natives respectively of CT and England. The grandfather moved from his birthplace to the State of NY at an early day, and was an officer in the War of 1812. He married Miss Charity CULVER for his second wife, and in March 1820 removed from Yates County, NY, with ox teams and sleds, and settled with his large family in Erie County, PA, becoming one of the pioneers of the highlands and dense forests of that county. He remained there until his death, which occurred at Gospel Hill about 1840. His wife died in Columbia County, WI, 10 Jan 1855, at the advanced age of 87. The paternal great grandfather of our subject, Nathaniel COHOON, was born in CT, and tradition says that his parents were Hollanders. He died and was buried in Mill Creek Township, Erie County, PA, in Jan 1827.

Here is some more information I have found. In addition, I found Hiram Miller and his family in Chattanooga Tennesee in 1900. In 1910 and 1920, his wife and daughter are in Los Angeles. I didn't find Edna in the California death index, but perhaps she died prior to 1940, or moved.

Note: Axey's maiden name was Stuart. I have seen her first name spelled many different ways. In the 1870 census, Daniel was listed as being only 46, but I think that was an error, and the 1880 age was correct. I am not sure when Daniel died, but Axey died in 1894.
William, Elizabeth and Nancy Miller are buried in Pipe Creek Cemetery in Ripley County.
Their dates are:
William 26 April 1814-11 Feb. 1907
Elizabeth 15 August 1821-26 January 1895
Nancy 9 October 1841-30 October 1918
I think I read somewhere that William's middle name was Serenus.

Hi Justin,
I have just found the burial place of Henry Miller, son of Benjamin. He died in Coos County, Oregon, which is on the southern Oregon Coast. I actually live in Oregon, too far away to get to the cemetery any time soon, but I can go to the state archives next week and try to find a death certificate for him. I will let you know.
I found him and his wife in Michigan, then in Kansas, and finally in Oregon in 1910. They are buried in the Marshfield Pioneer Cemetery near Coos Bay.

Cyral W. Miller 1877-1908 - I think he was their son. They also had a son Frank, and daughters Ethylyn and Mattie. I think they had 6 children in all.

I got an estate record for John Miller, that says he died around January 1819. It just details the activities of the administrators of his will, so it doesn't list any family members. That seems about right for his death date, as family history says he had died before his son George married in 1828. His farm and property was auctioned off at that time. The estate file is very hard to read, but it seems the administrators traveled around a lot to get papers signed - I hope John's widow wasn't taken advantage of. She was left with about 115 dollars after his estate was settled. Not much, when you consider she had a bunch of young kids still at home.
