Hi Frank;
To start your search, you need to to find your earliest ancestor that you can find with a birthdate. Most of our ancestors were named after other ancestors and without the birthdate, you will have no idea which Charles, George, John, or William is your correct ancestor. There are just too many to choose from.
Also get names of your great Uncles & Aunts in case your grandparents cannot be located. Talk to your oldest living relatives and get as much family information as you can while they are still among us.
