Mrs. JULIA CALHOUN
Funeral services were held Sunday in the Ringling First Baptist Church for Mrs. JULIA CALHOUN, 90 year old widow of J. W. CALHOUN, retired grocer. She died Saturday morning following a three months illness. Burial was at the Cornish cemetery directed by Collier Bros.
A resident of Ringling for 40 years, Mrs. Calhoun was born in Lamar County, Texas. Coming to Oklahoma 57 years ago, she first lived at Durant before moving to Ringling. She is survived by two sons, OSCAR, of Ringling, and WALTER of Vernon, Texas; two daughters, Mrs. T. BAKER of Gainesville, and Mrs. J. N. CHAMBERLAIN of Ringling; one stepdaughter, Mrs. CARRIE HOLCOMB of Sherman, Texas; one brother JOHN FINNEY of Phoenix, Arizona; 18 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
