Jerry, tku for a most wonderful birthday present! Rochette was named for her gm Suzanna Rochette Michaux Booker who married into the Prince Edward Co Worshams, this Michaux line extends back to 1695 France where they were Huegenots and asked/forced to leave the country.
I have Rochette's death in 1916.
I rechecked the 1880 census and the census taker did write Monroe but I deciphered it as Marvin (Rochette was Ronchetta).Again, I thank you very very much!
