Belinda,

I have a Martha Alabama Caldwell, b. April 6, 1851, daughter of Hugh Caldwell and Elizabeth Parsons. Hugh and Elizabeth raised their family in Tuscaloosa County, Alabama. I don't know if my Martha is the Martha A. that you are looking for, but the name and dates seem to fit. If you think there might be a connection, I have some more information on the family.
