I am a Burleson descendant and am looking for more information on my g.g.grandfather who was Gideon Franklin Burleson who was born in Oct. 1856 in Texas. He married Martha A."Mattie" Caldwell. Gid died in Haskell Co.,Tx. They were on the 1900 Census for Comanche Co.,Tx. Their children were:

Wylie G. Burleson was born on 30 Aug. 1881 in New Castle, Young Co., Tx. and he died on 16 Dec. 1926 in New Castle. He was ran over by a hit and run and died of exposure. He left his wife Senith Hudson Gardner Burleson a widow with five living sons to raise. Hope someone out there has a connection...
