I am looking for information on this family residing in Union, Tennessee in 1860. In the following census (1870) I find John and Sterling Coldwell in Lowdin, Tenn. Alexander is listed as Wm. A. and Charlotte is not on the form, Martha Coldwell is. According to the ages given I believe Martha is a step-mother to Wm. A. and Sterling. In 1880 census John and Martha Caldwell have had two children, a son named Henderson and a daughter named Ruth, again listing Alexander and Sterling. If anyone has informatin on this family please contact me.
